Forex All Info is FXNDB's general knowledge section. It answers the questions traders ask before they open an account: which brokers are legal where they live, what a bonus really costs to unlock, and how to keep losses small while learning.
Lists for the United States, Canada, India and other markets, filtered by the regulator that actually covers residents of that country, with fees and platforms compared side by side.
No deposit, deposit and welcome bonuses explained line by line: lot requirements, profit caps, verification steps and what happens to the credit when you withdraw.
Demo and live contest announcements with prize pools, entry rules and dates, plus broker press releases summarised so you can see what changed.
Guides and course comparisons on position sizing, leverage and drawdown control, the skills that protect an account more than any entry signal.
Follow these four steps in order. Each one removes a common risk before any money leaves your account.
Open the ranking for where you live. The regulator that protects you depends on your residence, not on where the broker is based.
Copy the licence number from the broker's website and search it on the regulator's own register. The company name and web address must match.
Note the required trading volume in lots, the withdrawal cap and the expiry date before you accept any bonus credit.
Practise on a demo account first. Then make a small first withdrawal to confirm the payment method works before adding more money.
Regulation is the first filter in every FXNDB ranking. This table shows which authority covers retail traders in the markets we write about most often.
| Regulator | Country | Where to check a licence |
|---|---|---|
| CFTC / NFA | United States | NFA BASIC database (firms must be NFA members) |
| CIRO | Canada | CIRO dealer member list plus your provincial securities regulator |
| SEBI | India | SEBI list of registered intermediaries (INR pairs on recognised exchanges only) |
| FCA | United Kingdom | FCA Financial Services Register |
| ASIC | Australia | ASIC Professional Register (AFS licensees) |
| CySEC | Cyprus / EU | CySEC register of investment firms |
Bonus note: the FCA, ASIC and EU regulators restrict trading bonuses for retail clients, so most bonus offers on FXNDB come from brokers' international entities. Check that an offer is open to residents of your country before you register.
It collects FXNDB's general forex guides in one place: broker rankings by country, regulator and platform, explanations of bonus and withdrawal rules, trading contest announcements, broker news and risk management education.
Find the licence or registration number on the broker's website, then search for it on the regulator's own register, such as the NFA BASIC database in the US, the FCA register in the UK or the ASIC Professional Register in Australia. The company name and website on the register should match the broker you are signing up with.
There is no single best broker for everyone. Beginners should start with a broker that is regulated in their own country, offers a free demo account and a low minimum deposit, and publishes clear fees. Our country and platform rankings compare these points side by side.
Leverage magnifies both gains and losses, so position size decides how much one bad trade can cost. Risking a small fixed share of the account per trade, often 1 to 2 percent, keeps a losing streak survivable while you learn.
New articles are added several times a month, and broker rankings are reviewed when regulation, fees or platform support change. Each article shows its publish date so you can see how current it is.
