This Instant Funding review covers a UK-linked prop firm whose name describes its main product: forex and CFD accounts you can trade for payouts straight away, without passing an evaluation. Since starting in 2021, Instant Funding has added one-phase and two-phase challenges, but its flagship remains the instant account with its “Smart Drawdown”. Our verdict: a well-reviewed, very flexible firm with tiny starter accounts and a fair locking drawdown, but instant accounts are expensive per dollar of capital, the line-up is confusing, and payout timing is slower than the fastest rivals.
Whichever route you choose, the fee is a cost: most traders lose instant accounts or fail evaluations, and profit is never guaranteed.

Challenge types and pricing
Instant Funding now sells more than a dozen variants. The main families are the original Instant Funding account (no target, no daily loss, Smart Drawdown), cheaper IF Micro and Clarity versions with daily limits, a 24-hour IF1 product, and classic One-Phase and Two-Phase evaluations, including crypto-only and “Micro” variants.
| Account | Instant (original) | One-Phase | Two-Phase |
|---|---|---|---|
| $1,250 | about $79 – $84 | – | – |
| $5K | about $225 – $239 | about $49 – $129 | about $48 – $49 |
| $10K | about $440 – $459 | about $89 – $199 | about $89 |
| $50K | – | about $289 – $449 | about $296 – $299 |

| $200K | – | about $977 – $1,798 | about $1,049 – $1,078 |
We show ranges because two review sites checked in April and June 2026 list different prices, partly due to discount codes and changes to the One-Phase model. The original instant account tops out at $120K for about $5,499, which shows how much more capital costs when you skip evaluation. No general refund policy was published in the sources we reviewed. Trading rules
Smart Drawdown and loss limits
The flagship instant account has no daily loss limit. Its maximum loss starts at 10% below the starting balance; once you reach 5% profit, the floor locks at 5% below the starting balance and stays there. This avoids the usual trailing trap where every new high tightens your room. Other programmes use simpler rules:
- Two-Phase: 8% then 5% targets (one source says 10% then 5%), 5% daily loss, 10% maximum loss, three minimum days in phase one.
- One-Phase: 10% target, 3% daily loss, 8% static maximum loss, three minimum days.
- IF Micro: no target, 4% daily loss, 6% maximum loss.
News, weekends, EAs and other restrictions
On funded accounts, opening or closing trades on affected instruments within about four minutes of major news is restricted unless you buy the news add-on; the challenge phases are not restricted. Weekend holding on the flagship instant account also requires an add-on. Only your own EAs are allowed; third-party bots, copy trading, high-frequency trading, grid and martingale-style doubling, latency arbitrage and hedging across accounts are banned. There is no consistency rule on the flagship or One-Phase accounts. Some traders also criticise an informal risk guideline of about 1% per trade, so read the risk rules carefully.
Profit split, payouts and scaling
Most accounts pay 80%, with 90% via an add-on, or on challenge accounts after making 10% within three months. Flagship instant accounts can withdraw 14 days after the first trade, then weekly. Micro and challenge accounts offer on-demand payouts once eligible. Requests are processed within 48 business hours with a $25 minimum, through Rise bank transfer or crypto (USDT).
Challenge accounts can grow by 25% every 90 days after a 10% gain, up to double the starting size. For the flagship instant account the firm cites scaling to $1.28 million.
Platforms and instruments
Traders can use MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader (offered to US traders) or DXtrade on web. Around 60 instruments cover forex, indices, commodities and crypto. Forex leverage is up to 1:100 on standard accounts, lower on Clarity and crypto programmes, and the firm cut index and commodity leverage on funded accounts to 1:5 in June 2026, citing volatility.
Company, trust and payout record
Simulated trading is provided by IF Pro Ltd, registered in Saint Lucia, and payments by Acello Ltd in London; Funded Trading Plus uses the same two companies. Instant Funding holds no financial licence and does not name a liquidity provider. It reports about $8.5 million paid in 2025 and $18.7 million or more since 2023, with on-chain records it says can be checked. Trustpilot scores in 2026 were about 4.5 to 4.6 from thousands of reviews. Complaints focus on payout denials linked to copy trading and shared IP detection, and the firm answers only a small share of negative reviews. We found no sign of closure or a payout halt.
Who Instant Funding suits
- Traders who want to skip evaluations and accept a higher price for it.
- Beginners who want a very small, cheap first account.
- Swing traders who prefer the flagship’s no-daily-loss Smart Drawdown.
- Traders who want a choice of four platforms.
It suits traders less well if they want fast, high-capital funding cheaply or trade news without add-ons.
Final verdict
Our Instant Funding review finds a credible firm with an unusually trader-friendly drawdown on its flagship product and many entry points. The drawbacks are high cost per dollar of instant capital, a sprawling product range with inconsistent published rules, and add-on fees for news and weekends.
